Comics, graphic novels & manga compilation

Having always been fascinated by comics and cartoons throughout my youth. Graphic novels, comics and specifically manga art have single handedly taught me many illustration fundamentals and continue to inspire me to this day.

Over the years I’ve created different short stories as exercises and experiments in graphic communication and homage to the industry.

Late Arrival (2013)

Heavily manga-inspired.

A self-initiated project revolving around one student’s punctuality and his repeated struggle to break the habit.

Midday Shower (2015)

Indie’ graphic novel inspired with a manga Flare.

Created in response to a university short-form graphic communication project. The brief was to create a graphic novel or tell a story via a series of images within a tight one-week deadline.

Computer Exchange | CEX Origins (2021)

Commissioned by CEX the leading UK high street retailer of bought, sold and exchanged goods, technology and entertainment.

Created in collaboration with the marketing and graphics teams to add an illustrated origin story to the company’s mascots.
